About: I studied at The Slade School of Fine Art in London and soon ended up teaching while developing my artwork, following new directions and learning the use of digital media. Last year, I embarked upon my career as a full-time artist focusing primarily on personal work and freelancing where necessary (to pay the bills). Current designs explore line, colour, pattern and shape, often using reoccurring motifs and/or themes. I’m also keen on creating hand-set typography and anything wild and colourful. My work has been published in books such as Victionary’s Fashion Wonderland and Laurence King’s Custom Kicks, and selected pieces have been exhibited in London, USA, Italy and China. Most recently, I was invited to be involved with Tiger Beer’s Tiger Translate in collaboration with artists from Asia, as well as design work for Belio Magazine’s 10th Anniversary edition and exhibitions. I have also now joined the esteemed ranks of You Work For Them as a further means to share my creative output and am part of the Black Rock Collective.

Get Inspired by: There’s so much, aside from artists and designers that inspires me. My work is at times influenced by ideas that emerge from books, music and/or films, and I’m a great believer in taking quiet time to following trains of thought… aka daydreaming. I’m excited by a lot of visual art, especially work exploring colour and other formal elements. Two of my favourite artists are Paul Klee and Jean Dubuffet, and I have long been a fan of Outsider Art and North European Folk Art. I also love visits to museums and galleries to recharge my creative batteries… nothing beats seeing and experiencing work in the flesh.
