About: I’m Petya Savova and I’m a designer by nature, this is why I studied fashion design in high-school, animation cinema and graphic design. I got my masters degree in Sofia, Bulgaria and I had a wonderful time during my internship at sucker design studio in Oslo, Norway. I used to work for at www.adeptplayground.com design studio where we manage to work on fresh, high quality selected projects with a strong vision. Now I’m a free bird. I’m a warm hearted, loving, determined, persistent, interesting and funny Taurus! I play softball and I love to drive my cabrio, fast. When it comes to my friends, I’m as loyal as a dog. They mean the world to me. I’m a person of extremes, at one moment I love socializing and hanging out with my friends, also getting to know new and interesting people and at the next moment, I love to be alone with my thoughts, ideas, a piece of paper and pencil. I have strong aesthetic taste and I enjoy art, music and beauty. I have a taste for all things that are beautiful! What role does poetry play in your projects? Do you also think there is such a thing as visual poetry? Every designer is in contact with several types of art. He can feel the music, describe it in words, and illustrate it. I don’t know whether this is something that we’re born with or whether it is something that evolves through life, imagination and emotions. Often, I listen to song lyrics and I get inspired by the words, by the meaning and by the music that I absorbed and then I release everything to create visuals that I saw and felt during the whole process. How do you make sure there is enough diversity in your work? Usually, with my illustrations I express feelings, emotions and questions to which I do not know the answers until I finish the picture. Feelings bring a unique atmosphere in which diversity comes very naturally. When you have created a new style and it turned out to be surprisingly good, even to yourself, then I know there is diversity.
