I received my first camera a few years back and have been taking photos ever since. I didn’t know what I was missing out on. I finally upgraded to a Nikon D3100 from my first camera which was a Nikon Coolpix. After the first picture I ever took on my own camera I couldn’t stop. My love for photography has only grown over the years. Evolving from a hobby to a passion. I’ve always been so indecisive about what I wanted to do in life but the answer has been in my hands for the past few years and I didn’t even know it. I am striving to learn all I can and hope to one day be able to live off of this current labor of love. Get inspired by: There are so many things that inspire me. Anywhere from music to my dreams to my fellow artists. There is always inspiration to be found in life and with each new experience is a new chance for that inspiration to reveal itself. I never know when it will hit but when it does there is nothing that gets in my way to make the final product as perfect as I saw it in my mind. Tools/Techniques: I use my Nikon D3100, Lightroom and Photoshop. With the first Photo titled “Light Raven” I used a 30 second exposure while my friend spun two steel wool pads that where tied on cable rope and then lit. The setting I was using at the time for my camera was ISO 100, Fstop of 10 and a focal length of 18mm. That picture actually had just minor edits to it. Increased the saturation slightly and sharpened it further.
