A year before her graduation she started her own design business. First as an illustrator but soon she extended her creative skills with graphic design, photography, product design and writing children and non-fiction books. Since she has an inexhaustible interest for many subjects she started with new study: A Master Art & Design at the university of Hertfordshire UK. Some of her research subjects were: medical illustration, picture books and fashion illustration. Her main goal was to extend her knowledge and to bring science and arts/design together. In Augustus 2011 she graduated. Get inspired by: Inspiration is always around us. Sam finds hers mainly in the work of other photographers and designers, city trips/travelling, books, magazines and academic papers, colours, light, little thoughts, daydreams, patterns, vintage stuff, clothing, etc… etc… Tools/Techniques Sam loves to shoot with a primelens at 1.2. Light is very important in her work, as well as atmosphere. A photograph needs to be pure so she adds a minimum of layers and uses Photoshop only to adjust lighting.
