About: I’m an artist living in Saint – Petersburg. I’ve been drawing, painting and doing graphic design over the last 20 years. Currently I’m working (besides my day job) as an environment artist on an animation film called «Kin-Dza-Dza», based on the soviet movie made in 1986. When the film came out, it influenced me a lot, and now I’m happy and proud to work on this remake. This animated cartoon is being created by the original movie director George Danelia, who is very famous in Russia and is my favourite. The film is about the fall of human culture, and my job is to develop landscapes, constructions, mechanisms and devices. I tried out various techniques, including traditional inks, pens, brushes. I also experimented with digital art, and now I use Adobe Photoshop and Corel Painter all the time, just brushes, no effects or filters.

Get Inspired by: For me only a result of mystical revelation can be considered as true art. Other products of intellectual speculations can only interest me from a technological point of view. My favourite paintings are created during insight, sudden connection with a certain information field. The interpretation of my vision, using all of my life experience, is the result of my work. Carlos Castañeda gave a definition of creative process, with which I agree most: «The Nagual Elias, as a solitary dreamer, visited, let’s say, the junkyard of infinity, when no one was around – and copied whatever he saw, but never knew what those things were used for, or their source.»

About: Aeiko is the online creative identity of UK designer Pete Harrison. Pete graduated from university in 2005, where he studied MediaLab Arts, he focused his studies around design and interactive media and after graduating quickly became one of the UK’s top up and coming designers. He decided to start off freelancing under the alias aeiko and got high end clients in the fields of graphic design, web and interactive media. During his time at university Pete made good connections in the design and illustration fields and decided to start up his own Uk based clothing label called Funkrush. Funkrush sells tshirts and hoodies featuring designs from some of the worlds most talented illustrators aswell as offering community based interaction. As his online presence expanded he was featured in a variety of magazines, books and on websites including a feature in Computer Arts magazine as one in ten internationally recognised new designers in the year 2006. He continued to freelance and worked on several magazine tutorials, front cover designs, branding and graphic design projects whilst all the time developing his label Funkrush.
In March 2006, Pete was offered a full time position as an associate interactive designer, he decided to take the plunge and moved up to London to continue his career. He currently resides in London working full time and developing Funkrush on the side. He continues to push the boundaries of creativity, inspire others and impress the design industry with his ability.

Get Inspired by: Inspiration is hard to pin down, its quite a broad subject I see design inspiration everywhere I go. Some comes from personal experiences and my own imagination, it could be anything. Recently fashion and clothing labels, and music is one of my biggest inspirations. Whilst designing anything can inspire me and change the thoughts / design process behind an image. I keep a folder on my computer filled with things that inspire me, I only have to look through this and I feel super creative!

About: I am a self-taught artist and graphic designer, with roots in street & board culture. I used to attend Medical Academy when my passion for visual arts overfilled me with awareness in my ability to enter the world of illustration, arts & design. It was a hard and long way (and i am still on the run) to work out skills, to learn the basics, to meet the classics, to learn the ways of self-expression, to explore the science and to feel the inspiration. In the 2007 I have started my freelancing as Naoba2Artworks, took part in several big board design projects in Russia, designed numerous album covers, posters, t-shirts and stickers for musicians, kiteboarding companies and different local advertising agencies. Now I am getting deep in magazine art-direction, calligraphy and typography studies, expanding the boundaries of sense and knowledge. I am constantly looking for new challenges and opportunities to enrich my experience, to communicate with people through my designs and art pieces.

About: My name is Rubens Scarelli aka RUSC, born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I’m an illustrator since 1987 when I started working in advertising agency. In 1993 I started working with comics, created some characters and drew for Brazilian publishing houses. Later I became art director at a publishing house and began to make free lance illustration and graphic design. Today my projects are more focused on t-shirts and hope for the future to have my own brand.
